Things I was Obsessed with in February

Hey guys!! I’m actually really hype about this post because I’m actually in love with everything I have listed below. This is a post about my February favorites, but honestly, I’ll be obsessing over all these things for the rest of my time in Scotland (and longer). I can feel it.

Keep reading to find out the things I’ve fallen in love with recently!

Bluetooth Keyboard

I got an iPad back in December, and I’ve been obsessed with using it over my laptop. It’s just smaller and easier to use since I don’t have to wait for it to slowly wake up and work. (I’m in serious need of a new laptop but that’ll have to wait)

The only thing I don’t like about the iPad is how hard it is it type. When I’m trying to respond to emails or type out comments it takes forever and a day!! So I finally caved and bought myself a wireless keyboard and I love it!! I may have bought the literal cheapest one, but I don’t care because it looks cute and makes working on my iPad a lot easier. And if I want to go out to a coffee shop and not lug my huge laptop, all I have to do is throw my iPad and this keyboard in my backpack!

Wireless Mouse

Going off the last technology addition, I also got myself a wireless mouse. I have been wanting one of these for at least a year now. Actually, scratch that. I’ve wanted one since I use to work at the office so it’s been at least two years.

The point is I’ve been wanting one forever and I finally bought one. It has been a dream!! Especially when editing photos in Lightroom.

Pigtail French Braids

So this hairstyle has been huge for a while now. I remember it taking off the end of my freshmen year of college. A close friend of mine took me to an amusement park in May that year and we made a game out of counting how many girls we saw sporting the hairstyle. We were basically mocking the hairstyle and how popular it was, but now here I am wearing it multiple times a week.

I got really into the double braids last semester when I realized how wavy it made my hair! But I eventually started sporting it to the gym as well, and now I’m wearing it all the time. I kid you not, I wore my hair in pigtail french braids for three days in a row last week. It’s just so easy!! Well, except it legit burns my shoulders and arms. But that’s a plus too because it makes it a good arm workout. LOL

White Bandana Headband

Another hairstyle favorite of sorts. So we all know I highkey dug the whole neck scarf trend last year. I brought my red and white ones with me to Scotland, but I have yet to actually wear them around my neck. Instead, they’ve been taking up residence in my hair.

They just add a little oomph to an outfit, spice up bad hair days, keep your hair out of your face while working out, and kinda ooze the whole 50’s vibe I get from neck scarves!

Early 2000’s Music

Something weird has gotten into me lately. I’m so tired of the music from today, and even all the rap music that was “new” to me. Instead, I’ve turned to huge throwbacks! I kid you not I was jamming out to Hannah Montana the other week while pushing through 30 minutes on the stair master. Nobody’s perfect but that workout sure was close. (I apologize for my awful joke. Don’t hate me.)

I’ve been particularly loving Selena Gomez’s old stuff and the High School Musical soundtracks. But OMG you guys so I haven’t listened to those soundtracks or seen the movies in years. Like I haven’t heard any of the songs from the first movie since after I found out Zac Efron didn’t actually sing Troy’s parts. So when Get Your Head In The Game came on and I didn’t recognize who was singing I freaked out. My whole childhood is a lie and I can never listen to that song again.

Serial Killers Podcast

If you didn’t already think I was insane because of my obsession with the Lore and Unexplained podcasts then you will definitely think I am now. Especially since my favorite time to listen to this is while I’m trying to fall asleep. Yes, I know I’m weird.

Honestly, a lot of the content doesn’t really freak me out. The other two podcasts give me the creeps more! There was only one episode that really gave me the heebie jeebies and I almost didn’t finish. It was the episode about the Werewolf of Wysteria. So maybe steer clear of that one if you get scared easy.
